Can Energy Saving Light Bulbs Damage Your Health
Monday, April 16th, 2007I came across an article on Yahoo News while doing some research which suggests that some types of bulbs contain small amounts of mercury. The article only deals with compact fluorescent lamps and suggests there is a potential hazard if bulbs get broken and also from the effects of disposing of them in landfill. I haven’t noticed any health warnings on the boxes in this country but then maybe I haven’t looked hard enough. Interesting eh??!!
