If you would like to reduce the energy used by your computer then this simple to install and use utility could be for you. JSutils has just released an update to AllOff a shut down utility which detects processor load and keyboard/mouse activity. This major update adds the ability to disable either processor load or keyboard/mouse detection for greater flexibility plus includes some minor fixes and changes. See history for details.
JSutils has just released version 2.2 of CPUOff Lite which monitors the CPU load and initiates computer power off after the average CPU load has been below 15% for more than 60 seconds. Uses of CPUOff Lite include unattended backup (or other processor intensive operations), shutting down the computer when the backup has completed. It can be started via the Windows Task Scheduler, on start up or manually at the same time as the backup is initiated. This is a great little utility for saving energy by making sure a computer switches off when it has finished a task.
DO you forget to turn of your computer? Try using AllOff Lite from JSutils. This brand new program is simple to install and use requiring no configuration. If this doesn’t do what you want then take a look at the other computer shutdown utilities on JSutils
